Born in Minsk and based in Florida, Alena Rezanova explores the space between painting and technology. Her background in advertising and product photography shaped her sensitivity to composition, light, and color.
Since 2023, her focus has been painting. Her method, a “reverse simulacrum,” begins with a digital composition, then a painting made by hand. The copy comes before the original. At its heart is enoughness: a pause against a culture of constant acceleration.
